You are bombarded every day with unwanted eMails. Even if your eMail program sorts out unwanted eMails on your computer first of all they will be loaded. An unnecessary waste of your bandwidth and time.
With SaferSurf the filtering and sorting takes place centrally on the server of SaferSurf. SaferSurf collects the eMails for you from your mailboxes and realizes a check for content. Only mails requested by you will get to your computer. Advertising mails and unwanted mails will already be sorted out before.
The filtering of your eMails will be realized individually and does not take place using an anonymous blocking list of spam addresses that can never respond to your individual needs.
Unwanted eMails are on your request taken into quarantine (recycle bin) and therefore do not get in contact with your computer. These eMails are buffered for you in the recycle bin and can be restored on demand. This way you can also receive eMails that have been accidentally deleted by gross filter criteria.
To facilitate the installation of a self-learning and user-based eMail filter for unwanted eMails and spam there is an easy to handle toolbar at your disposal in your eMail program. Alternatively you can manually forward every eMail that you classify as spam to the mail agent.
SaferSurf supports POP3 mailboxes in all popular eMail programs on the operating system Windows, e.g.: MS Outlook, MS Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird. After the automatic setup the functions can be used immediately. Please, note that SaferSurf supports only POP3 eMail accounts. IMAP accounts are not supportetd.
SaferSurf supports SSL encrypred submission when receiving eMails if you have set up your eMail program for POP3 via SSL. The encrypted submission prevents that someone else can read your email.
